I also thought it was completely bizarre that they didn't just know the order of the rainbow. Incidentally, Liam Gallagher and John Squire just released a single which you can consume for free on youtube called Just Another Rainbow in which Liam helpfully recites the colours in order in a style reminiscent of Rebecca Black running through the days of the week in Friday.

Ed Gamble is friends with James Acaster and they do a very popular food podcast together called "Off Menu". They ask guests what their dream menu would be and also chat about random stuff. So far they have done 217 episodes with a lot of people you know. Don't know if you listen to podcasts outside of reactions, but if you do, i highly recommend it even if you aren't a foodie. Couple of suggestions if you want to listen to it some day. Ep.120 Miriam Margolyes: Seeing clips of her on Graham Norton, you know how great a storyteller Miriam is. Also features Miriam scolding James multiple times. Ep.175 Alex Horne. If you would like to hear how strange Alex actually is, this episode provides an insight. EP.42 Greg Davies. He infuriates Ed and James when selecting his starter. Ep.116 Bob Mortimer. I was also confused how people don't just know the rainbow by colour but I guess some people just don't think about colours as much! But I still might have got something wrong with the terrible job they did dyeing them 😂

I'm with you Mandy. I don't understand why people have trouble with the rainbow. Firstly, is it not obvious to them what order the colours go in? Is it not obvious that orange follows red, that yellow follows orange? Does it really require an artistic mind to see that? And even if they can't see it, why do they need a mnemonic? Do they need a mnemonic to remember the order of the days of the week? Or the alphabet? It's very strange to me. And I sympathise with the crying baby. My next-door neighbours' daughter and her new baby seem to have moved back in with them. It's been a couple of months now and it cries like it's being murdered for several hours every day. 😅

My favourite series! Love how seriously Ed takes the game, he's a super fan who was desperate to get on the show! David and Jo are brilliant and I love Rose and Katys energy. This is the perfect line up imo

So this one was my first season of Taskmaster. I've watched Taskmaster all out of order. I caught various random episodes whilst channel surfing but during lockdown I decided to watch a full season and this season was the one I picked because of the cast. I knew Jo Brand from every UK comedy show and I knew David Baddiel because he was a double act with Frank Skinner (who was on series 1 of TM), and i also knew Katy Wix who was/is on a sitcom with Lee Mack. The only two I didnt know Rose and Ed, actually turned out to be two of my favorite contestants this season (i love when that happens!). I've now watched a few more random future seasons (in addition to all the ones Mandy has watched) and this one is still one of my favorites.
