You can probably just dangle yourself with your arms to get the same effect regarding unnecessary chiropracty. Yes, I'm certain Edmonds' lunacy was being satirised here. I'm pretty sure he specifically stated that he got a helicopter from cosmic ordering. I'm also sure he would have chatted to his PA about this order, who would have shrewdly asked Noel what kind of helicopter he had asked the cosmos for, and how much he expected the cosmos to dock from his Scrooge McDuck-like pile of cash. I expect his PA would have then made their excuses to slip away for a short while and use the telephone, and lo-and-behold, a couple of weeks later, the "cosmos" came through with its promise of a shiny new helicopter. The man's a mentalist. I'm glad he made good his promise to leave the country. 😅

I'm not a fan of chiropracty as a concept, except when genuinely medically required. I've seen baby chiropractors which is just bloody insane, baby's bones aren't even properly set yet.

So.... I googled "my husband keeps shouting at me" and then just changed "husband" to "wife" and searched again. I got exactly the same results in both cases: first up was a counselling service and second was a link to the NHS list of support options and third a list of Quora entries (😟😟😟). Of course, YMMV in Argentina... I then tried substituting "cat" and "dog" and oddly, no links to the NHS page showed up (but oddly, WebMD did!) and Quora was relegated to 7th place... I'm not entirely sure what any of that proves, but "We do the boring stuff so you don't have to".... 😉😎🤷

TV presenter and Britain's best person (~1978 - 22 September 2017), Noel Edmonds, was a proponent of the cosmic ordering system depicted in this episode. His popularisation of the idea may well have been the inspiration for this episode. Although the bum kissing and band idolisation subplots seem less relevant. I understand it worked out very successfully for him and, as in the episode, he got a helicopter, a series of temporary tattoos on his hand but not a robotic hand as far as I know.
