You'd think someone would have better designed bras by now. I suppose not when there's money to be had. I do wonder how comfortable they actually are. Is it better to have them up to vent the underbreast area? Is there a better way to secure it without straps that bite into your shoulders and pull on your joints? Is there a better shape or material for comfort? I'd have to consult a textiles engineer.
