Another great reaction Mandy 🤗 I agree about autographs and things. We get quite a few celebrities come here but I've never asked for a picture or autograph. I did have a drink and a chat with Maisie Williams once but didn't know who she was at the time which I think she found quite refreshing.

Mandy will enjoy Black Books. Bill Bailey’s character is a lot of fun. Plus it will introduce her to Tamsin Greig, who also appears in Green Wing and Friday Night Dinner and is great.

Life is better when Mandy is doing good! Agree with you about starting off a relationship with lies. I’ve never understood that. Surely one small lie will turn into another and then it must be exhausting remembering all the lies you’ve told and keeping it up 🤔

Arthur Mathews wrote Black Books with Linehan and Dylan Moran. It's a cult comedy set in a bookshop with Bill Bailey. Similar in style to Father Ted and IT Crowd.

Arthur was the brains of the outfit IMO. His very early stuff like "Ted and Ralph" sketches for The Fast Show could be heart warming at the same time as unsettling and funny. All his stuff, no matter how odd it got, seemed to have heart. I agree with the other comments about his stuff with Chris Morris on Brass Eye.

Arthur's stuff with Chris Morris was truly great. After watching Mandy acclimatize to Peep Show over the years she seems ready for their stuff. King Boomer needed a lot longer to be able to get into it for reactions though. Maybe not Jam yet, I'm not sure anything aside from a decade of heavy psychedelic use and a congenital mental illness can prepare you for that, but the rest of it.

Blue ink is easier to scan and separate, you can key it in software and isolate it so you can duplicate it, same way green screens work. Arthur Mathews has done a few things, he started on The Day Today, which only has 7 episodes but is a legendary show that has influenced so many show that follow it. He did Brass Eye and Jam, quite a few sketch shows and most recently he did Toast of London and Toast of Tinsel town

I've never really understood why you would either, if someone falls for me, I'd like it to actually be me they fell for. Of course then I have to question their judgement :) EDIT: Of course here with Father Ted you've got to consider that Catholic priests are supposed to be celibate and aren't allowed to marry

On the autograph thing..it was an easy way to get something ‘slightly’ memorable from a celebrity of sportsman I guess. It was a time before smartphones so what else could you get? 😂 I know you remember those pre-selfie days Mandy you’re an old old lady 😉

7:42 Gladiators was a very popular early evening TV series where members of the public would compete in physical challenges against the "Gladiators". Ah Jet, I had a crush on her when I was 8 :)
