Mandy Cane Lane
They are the same as every other tap setting in all of Argentina ๐
YearRoundHibernater
your tap isn't colour coded wrong the pipes are fitted in the wrong order. If they are flex pipes you should be able to turn your water off at the stop cock and switch them yourself without much trouble.
Jeffrey44
It's also slow to get started as programmes from that era often were. See also Only Fools and Horses.
Rusty Dog
Was nice to watch this last night, I needed it. Great episode and reaction.
Stevus
Thank goodness they're not quite dead yet, still time to say thankyou!
Jack Nicholas
Oh god yes One Foot in the Grave is the best show ever. It's slightly surreal comedy while being a bit dark in places. It's genius, it's my absolute favourite
Stevus
Wow. Well, that was something. 769 million views! Skibidi toilet makes me want to cry.
Remi
Just don't leave them on the colour red when it goes dark trust me from experience
irreverend
@Stevus alas I unfortunately saw most of Skibidi Toilet when my daughter lived with me, and you can watch it all in about half an hour as I recall, so I think we're safe from that :) However, here is a song titled Skibidi from 4 years prior to that, and not related to the song in the toilet crap (which is an edited version of a Bulgarian song as I recall) https://youtu.be/mDFBTdToRmw This one is Russian though
irreverend
@Kirk Deighton I'm really not sure how to say this, there's definitely the possibility of double intenders here (that wasn't a typo if you're not familiar with Nanny Ogg). But that's a terrifying bush your nan took you to see
irreverend
@Mandy Cane Lane the Eurovision Song Contest is a long running yearly thing where countries in Europe (and some not exactly in Europe) showcase their "best" musical acts and every country votes on who will win. It's not at all like x-factor etc whilst possibly being the inspiration for that type of thing. It's been running for nearly 70 years.
Mandy Cane Lane
Yes, thank you! "Taps" was the word that wouldn't come out! Haha. And oh boy, sounds fun! (I hope)
irreverend
I have to say, I think it might be a sin to attach some of those to a vehicle without it being a sin. They don't look like the healthiest tyres I've ever seen
Mandy Cane Lane
You know? Shockingly I do not have a favorite TV butt. They are put of my memory quite quickly, so ADHD for the win! Lol. -- And maybe I have seen some of it, maybe I haven't ๐. Haha. I LOVE thunder by the way. One of the coolest sounds evaaaa
irreverend
Oh no, that stuff happens with wind here all the time :) I just meant really heavy downpours I guess. I've seen it happen in Florida (I have an ex who lived there and she sent me videos of it before we met). You generally just get a full day of drizzle, or no rain, but possibly still cloudy here. Really heavy rain is rare. Flooding happens a lot in some areas but it's not entirely unexpected and not generally life threatening I'll give you that :) EDIT: But I actually live on an island on the west coast, and whilst 70mph gusts aren't uncommon to me, it really tends not to rain as much. 1 mile away, in the rest of the town over the bridge, it's often raining, when it just skips here EDIT EDIT: I think I just answered why I haven't seen umbrellas in a while didn't I?
Mandy Cane Lane
Hahaha! Well, it being frozen gives a great reaction for the viewers!!
Mandy Cane Lane
Tropical downpours can be scary! Branches break, trees and signs fall over, roads flood. It isn't fun! Haha, but I get your point!
Mandy Cane Lane
So many butts! ๐ญ๐ซฃ
Mandy Cane Lane
Oh! Not what I thought at all. Haha, thank you for explaining! ๐ค
Kirk Deighton
The bush is fancier than it was when I used to visit it, they added a little brown tourism sign on the opposite side of the road pointing at it. A peat bog is made of the stuff that would turn into coal in thousands of years, but is currently just a big patch of damp mud, that can suck people and artifacts in and preserves them for ages. I lost a boot to one as a kid. Irish people cut chunks out of it, dry it, and use it as heating fuel in fires.
Kirk Deighton
you're in for a treat
AWR93
Swings in the rain? Sounds like fun!! We had one of those big circular swings that you lay down in, was crazy!
Stevus
I might unsubscribe if she does Eurovision. Despite Australia being an honorary European country for the purposes of the competition.
Mandy Cane Lane
Ah, so you are saying it wrong. Lol ๐คฃ๐คฃ Mine are hooked up to my light switch for convenience ๐๐ป๐๐๐ป
Mandy Cane Lane
Only time will tell lads
Mandy Cane Lane
I actually used to do the same with a friend, just scratch the umbrella. I remember we often had the bright idea of going on the swings at the park. Was actually fun ๐คฃ
Mandy Cane Lane
Working in the rain is very different. Not sure what you do, but my sympathy those days. I know it isn't fun ๐ฅ
Mandy Cane Lane
I am not part of the lighting trade (to my knowledge ๐)
Mandy Cane Lane
I actually realised it was riverdancing! Haha ๐คฃ๐คฃ
Mandy Cane Lane
Lmao! Love this ๐คฃ๐คฃ
Mandy Cane Lane
OMG! I expected a wee bit of a fancier bush. Also, what is "peat bog"? ๐
Mandy Cane Lane
What is Eurovision? ๐
Mandy Cane Lane
Lol ๐คฃ๐คฃ

I still haven't watched this yet, I'm too tyred! https://iili.io/3zJj21f.jpg

Easily done though. I've made some errors in the comments. Normally spotted by a certain 44 ๐คฃ
Jeffrey44
Yes, One Foot in the Grave should really be the programme she starts on Saturday.
Z is for Zed
Do we need to get Mandy to watch at least one episode of One Foot In The Grave or some clips or something in advance? (Maybe also Eurovision, but that would be needlessly cruel.)
DriveIn
<_< >_> I thought it didn't post the first time
DriveIn
Well this is embarrassing.
Kirk Deighton
These type of holidays were real for me as a kid. Visiting my gran, local attractions included St Kieran's bush (a little fancier than a stump, but still...), people drove from miles around to tie things to it. There was also a peat bog with a mini railway. Here's St Kieran's bush on google streetview if anyone is interested. https://maps.app.goo.gl/FSC8udjUnE3cJN4r9
Stevus
Redundancy is highly underrated. Kudos to you sir!
Josh Read
Do you ever have the feeling of deja vu?
Stevus
It seems a bit discriminatory to colour code your remote incorrectly yet not put incorrect Braille on it. Why are the blind so readily ignored? They're members of society too, and deserve to experience every annoyance and inconvenience that we, sighted people, experience. Sometimes it seems like we're moving further AWAY from equality, not towards it. When will people think of the blind and their oh so important lighting set-ups? Come on people! We can do better!
Jeffrey44
You can say that again.
Stevus
That's true. Definitely poops... I mean props department for that.
Stevus
Probably Derek. That came second in the last poll. Or maybe shes gone rogue and picked something totally random... like skibidi toilet? Probably Derek.

The look on Mandy's face when the caravan was rocking ๐ you never know what Graham Norton is going to get up to!

In the lighting trade we always pronounce it L.E.D. Unless itโs part of a brand name such as Ledvance ๐
Stuart
Hardly seen a drop of rain around Manchester for a month. I was going go to Majorca with my wife but the weather is better here. I work outdoor so sometimes in the rain for 8 or 9 hours, so when people won't go out just because of a little rain it seems a bit pathetic.
AWR93
Me and my friend used to love going on walks in the rain, weโd share an umbrella and go out to eat or walk round the park, I miss doing that! โ๏ธ Excited to see what shows up on Saturday!! ๐ค
Remi
L .E.D not like Mandy pronouncing it like lead the metal ๐คฃ
Jeffrey44
How are you are saying "LED" though?
Jeffrey44
I'm looking forward to finding out what the next programme (or show as an American would say) is and then taking an extreme view and arguing with people in the comments about what a rotten/splendid choice you've made.
Remi
LED lights piss me off to my TV remote turns them off and then I have to disconnect the lights and re connect them because they're remote doesn't work and yes the on button is red and the off button is black so I have had many of brain aneurysms trying to use it
Benjamin Taylor-Yates
I mean, yes we are an island but generally cos we're so close to see level and cold climate the humidity is extremely low most days, between 40-70%, more in summer. The main place you'd be affected would be right on the coast itself with all the salt in the air. It's surprising the amount of rain we have heare and yet everyone forgets their umbrella. ๐ Another strike by our friend Gluteus. ๐ ๐๐๐
Jeffrey44
It's not fair to be angry with the writers. It's not their job to heat the sewage. That's a whole other department.
irreverend
I can't remember the last time I saw someone using an umbrella, they seem to have gone out of fashion, at least in Northern England where I live. Although it rains about 50% of days in the UK, it's rarely very very heavy rain, I recall someone mentioning Japan has much much more actual rainfall than the UK, but significantly less rainy days. It's just dreary here most of the time when it rains, a nice tropical downpour would be fun
nwall89
Dermot Morgan (Ted) and Ardal had no idea that the sewage they got covered in at the end was gonna be freezing cold, so the scene was a genuine reaction, and they were really pissed off at the writers afterwards. Every episode is great, but the one with the three bishops in a few eps time is a classic ๐๐
Josh Read
Another show with a man's bare arse. You have a one track mind Mandy ๐คจ I'm looking forward to seeing what you will be reacting to next. Have you watched any of it yet? If I need to go out in the rain I will bit I don't really like it. But I do love being out during a thunderstorm as the rain is nice and the air smells sweet ๐
Jeffrey44
Thank you Channel 4 and the largely dead cast.
(Just) Steve
'The blue is hot and the red is cold.' (think you meant "taps", or "faucets" as Americans would say btw) That's some great Argentinian plumbing! lol I love the rain, just a gentle downpour sounds lovely and it's nice to fall asleep to. But when it's absolutely ridiculously hammering down and the wind is howling, nah, that can piss off! You have NO idea what you're in for with this series! (with one episode in particular)
irreverend
Oooh Lucifer. I haven't watched that in a while, loved that series
๐๐ฎ๐ฒ๐ผ๐ฝ๐ ๐ข๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฎ
Thank you very muchly, Mandy! ๐ค๐ค๐ค
