🕑 Added 2022-04-28 20:31:15 +0000 UTCMy friends, just a quick update. Finished the pin wash and started with some quick chipping effects. Between running around, moving furniture and getting the necessary supplies for room painting, I only managed to chip this side of the tank.
At first I didn't want to pick out the rivets with a lighter color, but as you see on the green ones, the effect looks good and makes the model look not too dark, so I'll do the same thing with the remaining camouflage colors.
Tomorrow I'll be painting some 1:1 scale walls and also applying some concrete effects, so wish me luck! Hopefully I'll manage to do more chipping as well!

Hi Aaron - I use acetone which seems to do a really good job. Not sure that its really healthy for the brush, but I use old crap brushes for my texturing anyway, so it doesn't matter :)

I can't get over how cool that camo looks. It's such a unique color choice. On a random tangent, going through old videos of yours, I do have a random question. When you're using the Tamiya Putty and Mr. Cement mixture for armor texture, what do you use to clean the brush when you're done? I tried it a bit on my T-55, but ended up with something that just seemed to quickly gum up the brush (I assume not enough dilution on my part) and I wasn't entire sure how to clean it without covering myself in glue.
