Ready for weathering
🕑 Added 2023-08-08 10:24:28 +0000 UTCMy friends, the decals are up, everything is sealed with VMS flat varnish, the rubber mats are painted, and I’m sweating with anticipation. Because the next step is the most satisfying one - pin wash 😊
Decals from RFM are actually very decent and not too thick. VMS decal solution did a good job with them. As for the rubber mats, I ended up painting them with a brush. References suggest that they’re originally painted green, but the paint is quickly worn down, so I tried to emulate that look. First painting them green, then exposing the rubber with a dry-brush using two grey tones.
