Ready for earth tones!

After studying reference images, I noticed the Pumas get chipped, but in a VERY limited amounts! Mostly around the most exposed esges, handles, bolts, etc. Also, the metal appears to be very shiny, in some places I’m sure they used alluminum to keep the weight down, so I used silver for the chips.
The only place where I went heavier and added some rust effects was the tow cable. A bit of artistic liberty, but cables get worn down, after all!
The blue tape is visible on Pumas during exercises. Red X markings made from tape are also common, and I’ll add those once the pallet camouflage is hanging.
Now for the gritty earth effects!

Looks so crispy, almost a shame to weather it. :)

I see you couldn't resist at least some chipping! To be honest neither can I! There is often a surprising amount of aluminium and alloys on post war armour. Especially IFVs and APCs. I've found that a dull light grey aluminium colour mixed from light grey and a silver colour gives a good portrayal of oxidised aluminium for chipping and the contrast really 'pops' too. Looking great already, usually the hallmark of a successful project.
