Sun’s out, guns out

It’s hard to believe, but this concludes the Sherman and I can now put the video together and then build a vignette for it!
This is probably the first model where it’s clear the tank is on the move and the crew isn’t just chilling, but focused and rather concerned/stoic.
I mean, King Kong is mostly photographed in a mountaineous area, so let’s suppose the tank is climbing Mount Tapochau where the fiercest battles on Saipan took place, and then it’s quite clear why the crew would be concerned!

Hi :) May I know what color you painted on that awesome figure?

Love your channel Uncle Night Shift! I am new to modeling but learning so much simply by watching your videos and studying how you apply techniques and theory. I'm so excited to see what 2024 brings! 😁

Fantastic! The crew add a sense of an impending shit show about to be unleashed. Really hits the mark. Love the sweaty back idea. Would really finish him off nicely.

Yes! I noticed you painted them accordingly! 😁 This is excellent news for me because even with the knowledge, I still wasn't too sure how I was going to execute this in practice. So I am really excited to see that you were able to visually break up the different stains and spills so well. 🎉 Now time for me to attempt to copy your work.. 🤣😜

I actually went back to find your e-mail about the different filler caps on the engine deck! :)

Yet it felt like a lifetime!

The in-action photos of King Kong show it without the 50 cal :)
Night Shift
It's actually the exact same method as I did in that figure tutorial from 2 years ago :) But I might sit down and do an updated version.

Now THAT is a truly amazing idea! I'll try to keep in mind when I start working on the diorama!

Absolutely blown away with this one my friend! 😁 Would be a show stopper as-is, but looking forward to seeing your integration into some groundwork. 🎉 Enjoy

Amazing work! What might be even cooler (no pun intended) is the guy in the tanktop in the front having a wet sweaty back. Maybe triangular glaze of a darker color than his shirt. Just an idea… but anyway.. amazing work yet again!

Those figures are really good! Every time you paint figures, improvement shows!
