This is super creative and the rubble effect I found most interesting! (New subscriber here! Thanks for your great content and being a fine fellow!)

Enigma Models

Absolutely brilliant. I love the use of inks on the yellow.

Night Shift

I guess it's similar with horror! Lovecraft can be very campy at times but some of his stories are still a good read almost 100 years later.

Night Shift

I listen to audiobooks (The Swarm by Frank Schatzing and the 3 Body Problem trilogy are my favorites because they're awesome and very long), podcasts, etc. at the workbench :) But I like to read a lot during the evenings instead of watching TV. I bought a Kindle and it's amazing. BTW, Expanse seems to be a great show on Prime, didn't know it was based on a book series. The Terror was also a TV show, right? That one was pretty decent, but I think the book makes the story even more gripping.

Night Shift

There are a few WH tanks that have the rhomboid design... very tempting!

Night Shift

That sounds great!

Russ

Looks great! So much smaller than it looks in my mind. Those tracks would make for a rough ride.

Joel Munson

Highly recommend Ancillary Justice (and the sequels) by Ann Leckie.

Enigma Models

That is so cool I love the color choices

Joshua Orr

That's incredible work! No failure in that at all. As far as Sci Fi goes, I'll give another vote for James S A Corey, The Expanse series has been quite good so far. "Asleep in a Sea of Stars" by Christopher Paolinin is another good one I listened to fairly recently. I'll have to go take a peak at my book shelf for more. Don't discount the old stuff, Heinlein, Bradbury, Andre, Asimov, Hubbard, it's all kind of campy, but it's good and entertaining.

Jason Shiskowsky

Outstanding! I think you might be on to something bringing A heightened level of realism to the genre. More!

Rick

We have similar tastes in authors. Excellent suggestions!

Patrick

This is super rad! Love the realistic approach

Solomon Hollowell

That's great! A lot of dirt!

It’s crazy how you still seem to be improving your skills even as a modeler at your level. I would recommend the Expanse series by James S.A. Corey. Probably the best sci-fi I’ve ever read. I watched the Amazon series first, which led me to the books. Both the books and the show are excellent and you lose nothing if you see the TV show first. Its an amazing series. For horror? Dan Simmons “The Terror” It’s a big one. Kind of like historical fiction about survival on the ice with a monster thrown in for fun. A book I wish I could read again for the first time. Do you listen to audio books when you are at the work bench like I do?

I'm a SF reader as well, but I lean towards the classic SF, maybe not current enough for you (Heinlein, Clarke, Niven, Pohl...)

That’s a huge success Martin! The final touches with the graphite pencil make it so so heavy! Fabulous work all round. The earth effects remind me of your WW1 tank… and looks completely right! 👍🏆🏆

Rick

What a beast. You nailed it, Martin! And you’re so right — finishing with the pencil somehow makes this bulky monster even more heavy. Take your well deserved rest!

I'm not a science fiction fan, but that's a hell of paint and weathering job. Keep it up my friend, greetings from Curacao Caribbean Area

Bob Yack

You are not allowed to use the "F" word sir. There is not one person here that would not love to model the way you do. Also, this is a big bulky tank so the tracks have to be the same. I Think anything lighter would be out of place. These are perfect. I wish Deadpool had a ship or fighter, then I would have a suggestion. :)

Mike A.

The word "failure" should not be allowed in any way, shape, or form. It's magnificent! Might be your "heaviest" creation yet. 😍

John Ratcliff

Very very cool and you workmanship is in another level as is your patience ❤️👌🏻

Stephan Krul

You might want to read up on Altered Carbon or Hyperion.

Andras Vegh

Warhammer on a next level 🤩

Roy Pedersen

It had been interesting to see you use your weathering skills on an WWII airplane 😎😉

Laurens_From_The_Netherlands

Whoooow!!! Cooll!!!!
