Pancake ready, base underway

After the wash I proceeded with natural scatter in the corners fixed with Balladt Freeze, then some airbrushed dust with Buff, dry-brusing with a dark rusty color on every edge, some moss deposits on the undercarriage (enamel Slimy Grime) and finally, rust streaks with oil paints.
I started painting the base without the obligatory dark primer, starting with the concrete wall and then the foliage. The rails need to be painted appropriately and then itβll need some fine treatment with brushes!

Thanks so much! I think it's the loss of constraints that "well used, operational tank in action" puts on you. With these different subjects, you can switch your attention to very specific effects that are simply not possible on historical military vehicles.

That's the one part I didn't really enjoy, all due to my laziness, haha! But it was an important step.

Yes indeed!

I was influenced by an old railroad track that runs around my town, and I wanted to shoot an intro to this video there... in the meantime, they started disassembling it as there will be a bike line instead :D

Love the bits of gravel on the steps and green patina, it's fine details such as this that make your works stand out!
