Ready for paints and the metal signs arrived as well!

The whole facade is easy to break into sub-assemblies: the main wall, barn door, ground floor window, the boarded up panel of the window, the wooden attic, the lamp, and, of course, the ground and all the clutter associated with it.
But it was the arrival of my custom enameled signs that made feel pumped! Printed on a satin 135g photo paper at 300DPI by a professional online printer service. I spent several nights collecting and editing these signs so I'm very happy with the final outcome. All of them are tied to Czechoslovak history and I have a couple of them in my home as decorations. So, in a sort of nostalgic turn, the idea of recreating old Czechoslovak architecture (even if the buildings themselves are made up) came to my mind :)

Where’s your lamp from, if you don’t mind me asking?

There is a lot to see, even at this stage.

I wondered if people would be interested in them... but ironically, these are the ones I'd love to keep because they take up zero space and look pretty good hanging on my staircase wall! :D

It's from Eduard. They have multiple patterns and sizes. But Aber meshes are IMHO much nicer.

Well, the signs probably won't be that useful in historical dioramas, but who knows, maybe there will be an interesting tank from Czechoslovakia! But they'll definitely be a part of each facade :)

would you ever consider selling these someday?

Hope you don’t mind a question in regards to the rusty pancake train, the brass chicken wire screen, who, where did you purchase?

Can’t wait to see you paint this fantastic building

I agree with Mike, the fact that the signs are tied to your life is a very cool feature and you should do this more often in future 😁

Wonderful work!

You're right - the rebar would have detracted from the overall effect IMHO. And it's awesome to have a personal connection via the signs...do you think this will become a part of your art going forward?
