Finally, some good mortar lines!

But the real win this time are the mortar lines. I think I finally nailed the look of spilled mortar. Each one was meticulously sculpted from acrylic wood putty, applied and shaped with a tiny brush. I then added a couple of enamel washes to add shadows around them, and white acrylic to bring the color back.
I also aged the concrete with various brown, ochre and black paints stippled with a sponge over chipping fluid, worn down and adjustef with enamel washes.
I just need to finish the wooden beams and the wall will be finished. Then it’ll be time to give the rest of the wooden details the same treatment 😁

Martin, your work(s) are a source of inspiration on so many levels. BTW any videos in the future? Kinda miss the “event” on Fridays. Regards

That is a beer correct? Not old enough to legally drink yet. I had soda on my mind so I will take you word for it😅

Pretty much nonexistent in my country, the best I could do would be Staropramen :D

The owners gonna be upset when he finds out you stole the facade of his property, shrunk and then framed it!😆
