🕑 Added 2024-07-01 12:27:01 +0000 UTCMy friends, I finished the facade on Thursday, but then I was suddenly struck by a nasty sickness on Friday morning, leaving me with my head in the toilet bowl for two days and a visit to the ER on Sunday. It's strange that these things keep happening to me pretty much annually, but it is what it is.
But the finishing touches were really fun. I painted a lot of the loose elements on the ground during the earlier stages. For example, the bricks and roof tiles were painted along with the brick wall, the large wooden panel was my first testbed for the new wood painting techniques, etc.
It's undeniable that the addition of a small piece of land in front of the facade adds a lot of authenticity and opens up new creative options for us.
Although I'm not feeling 100% healthy yet, I'll pace myself and do my best to make a nice video for you :)
