It’s settled!

So we’ll finally paint oxide primer, make a factory fresh tank, explore the black & white technique, and try a minimalistic factory diorama 😁

I can't lie, ive been seeing quite a few of these builds and they are making me want to build 1 lmao. I do need a break from the armor models so maybe this is just what i need.

I love all the writing on the unpainted hull. And want to recreate them myself on another tank, but what do they mean/symbolise? Not the exact translation but is it just the builders writing funny notes?
Ollie Koenigsbauer
I love this Tank
Custer0706
Very good choice. Looking forward to it. Finally, another tank!

Looking forward to see an inside factory diorama!

Nice, I had a feeling you where going to make this kit, you said something about a factory fresh vehicle in oxide red in one of your recent video's. And for some reason I remembered you havint this kit as it was visible on the back ground in an other video from a while ago :)

Draw/paint all the graffiti by hand, no balls!
Steve Ramsay
Should be a great subject for you are you using the decal markings with all the markings applied looking forward to watching this from the beginning
Eric
I remember you toying with the idea of doing this before uncle So glad you’ve decided to do it 👍

Nice!!!! Bought this one as well. 😀 Search for ferdinand on cults3d. Some modeler actually designed….well, almost everything for this one! Looking forward to the build!

Awesome! I love the Ferdinand… it looks so much like the Tiger 1 Porsche model (because, who knew, it was made by Porsche), and will look so amazing! I can’t wait! And the oxide primer I’m sure will look dazzling as you always make it!!
Tyler Czarnecki
Nice choice. I think your thoughts on doing a factory version could be cool, or extremely reserved weathering, maybe on some proving grounds or tests? Looking forward to your approach
Bob Yack
Define minimalistic Martin :) You will rock this just as you always do sir.
Brian N Stanley
Great choice👍! I have the Tamiya kit and it may kick me into the build…a great kit for detailing of any kind…
Sherminator
There are lots of nice updates for this on cults3D to print out if you want to improve on some of the kit parts.

I had to leave your Patreon due to, hard times I'll put it, but now glady returned. I pay my Patreon fee to watch your artisty and to learn. I don't pay to tell you what you should do with your models! Like keep effects to a minimum. I do hope you don't listen to this, and do what YOU want. Happy modelling Martin.

Wow. All those flame cut marks, weld, nuts and bolts, edging plates. Can't wait to see this progress. Can already imagine the washes on this.
Joxar
YES! i love this tank! 🤗

OXIDE PRIMER! one of the best finishes
Robert Burnside - Red Beach One Studios
This will be very interesting to watch this build, and see what you come up with, Martin. Personally, I love the look of red oxide primer, and all the chalk markings, in a factory setting, like the box art on your Ferdinand kit. It’s a great choice, and I’m sure your will do well with it, and dazzle us all. Awesome idea, Martin 👍 🤩 Cheers 🍻
RelentlesStorm
Good choice! I have this kit in my stash with the full interior and a crane. I also have a prototype Jagdtiger on deck that I want to paint a primer color so I can't wait to see what you do here! Are you thinking of using Adam's panther as a reference?
Alexandre Favre
Then you can tag on this model the names of all your Patreon's friends :-D
Stefano Scaccianoce
Great choice, keep all the effects you normally use (dust, rust, mud and wear and tear) to a minimum Working with a color like new oxide primer is not very easy and you could try a color modulation (the black & white technique tends a bit to desaturate the colors you could supplement the loss with the inks) New challenge for you and us as usual “a delight for the eyes”
Den Howlett
I’ve done this and It Is a LOT of fun.
Jacek Czmer
Great choice 😊 I really love the factory finishes and I still remember your Mouse tank in a AK book. Great inspiration 😁
david roy moreno
Perfecto 👌 👌
Kevin SKB118
🍿 oooh this will be interesting… no weathering on a Nightshift build!!! Is this a first Martin? Loving the variation in your builds over the last year or so 👍👍😎
Tim Malinowski
Neat project, good opportunity for a factory diorama, maybe with roof? I’ll send you some detailed photos of the TD from the heavy tanks book.
Mr Ralph Laughton
Now that sounds like an interesting and unusual subject. I will be looking forward to this one.
Stephan Joubert
Looking forward to this one!👌
