I just joined to watch this with you. Replying to your intro, LOST is my favorite show. It takes some wild turns but it's always about the CHARACTERS. Their journey, the character growth almost every character goes through is incredible. I get goosebumps just thinking about it. I actually saw the finale first when it aired because my stepmom wanted to watch it despite barely keeping up with the show. I didn't understand anything that happened in the ep but apparently I found it intriguing enough to binge the whole thing a few years later. I think the ending is perfect. People who don't like the ending or genuinely think the show went off the rails simply didn't understand it. And it honestly does get confusing. But those people are never receptive to hearing what actually happened vs what they saw with their own preconceived notions of how the story would play out. I wish I could watch it for the first time again.
