Serina: Phylogenetic Trees
🕑 Added 2023-02-05 07:12:53 +0000 UTCEvery evolutionary chart for Serinan animal groups done thus far, accurate up until April 17th, 2023. Now, just gotta wait until there are enough lumpuses, seed-snatchers, and eelsnakes species for them to get their trees...
This will get edited periodically as new species are added, probably more quickly than it is on Sheather's patreon... probably...

I added it to the tree weeks ago, but somehow I forgot to add the updated tree to the page; it's there now.
I wonder where's the upland impaler on the cladogram? It isn't there from what I see
It's there now, alongside the other bumblebeast.
Whereβs the Bigjaw Bumblebeast?
Hopefully we do see them one day :)
Yeah, it was a mistake on the tree, but I asked Sheather and fixed it. The swampjaw and the manticores descended from a large 275 MYH sawjaw that didn't get shown (yet...?).
Apparently the elegant manticore has no seen hothouse ancestors! it is a bit confusing when you read it's description
You could use patterns combined with colors

Thank you so much for updating these π
I'd do it, but they'd need to have a sufficient number of species to warrant it (usually I wait until there are about 12 species minimum), and I would worry a bit about running out of colours.

These are great! Would you consider doing any pre-Thermocene groups, like the vivas, serestriders or falconaries?
Thank you for updating these! On a side note, I'm absolutely thrilled to see what the snarks, trunkos and the skogre descendants look like!
