This is just a real quick update to let you know that November's episodes are still coming, they're just gonna be posted a bit late. The Blips episode should be up tomorrow or so, and there's a bit on Star Wars: Jedi: The Fallen Order: Return Of The Star Wars Games With Too Many Subtitles that will be up later in December. I just wanted to let everyone know so the payment date doesn't come and go and people think I forgot to post anything - it's still in the pipe, it's just delayed a bit!
For those who want to know why, it's mostly boring life stuff - I have a job interview I've been prepping for over the Thanksgiving break when I had intended to produce a lot of this stuff. That, and then I had the realization that a Star Wars video would probably do even better if I can hop on the Search Engine Optimization fun and post it closer to the release of Rise of the Skywalker. And hey, it kind of serves as a sequel to my last Star Wars video, so that'll be fun.
Anyways, sorry for the delay - I'll have this stuff up ASAP, and then we can continue like normal in December when I'll hopefully have some time off to actually play catch up (depending on how this job stuff goes! Fingers crossed, I guess!).

Oh man, I'm sorry to hear about the medical benefits thing - that's intense! I'm applying for what basically amounts to a lateral move. It's a long-ish story, but the short version is that I was hired for a 5-month contract-to-hire in January of 2017 and it's now December of 2019 and they still haven't converted me to a full time employee. So I'm basically just looking for a standard mid-to-senior programming gig that is a real, salaried, full-time position and not a perpetual contracting thing, because I miss paid leave and the possibility of raises and promotions.

There's this huge divide between content creators who can make content in a day or two, verses those who take weeks or a month or more for each video. Mine take a month, and every time I'm tempted by the sweet sweet SEO flavor of the week train I get sad knowing I'll be so far behind the curve it's not even worth it. Really wanted to sculpt a baby yoda, but it wouldn't be ready until Jan. :( Anyway, good luck on the interview! I just had one at Retro Studios for a senior level design gig. They flew me down first class! (First time I've ever been in first class) Such a cool place and opportunity, but given it's a key role for Metroid Prime 4 there's a TON of candidates they need to go through. Anyway, right now I'm doing work for Ori and the Will of the Wisps, which is also really fun. Just doesn't give medical insurance since they are based out of EU, so it's not very sustainable for me. I gotta pay over 2 grand a month to keep the medical benefits from my last job! So what are you applying for?
