🕑 Added 2024-08-08 13:11:56 +0000 UTCI recommend slowing this one down a bit since it goes so fast... which does reflect how I absolutely blasted through most of this drawing in one morning last month haha. I wish I had recorded the sketching part of this too, it was a fun challenge trying to get that feeling of the twist that cats do when they're realigning in the air to land on all fours!
I did something a bit new with this one by accident and I want to experiment with it more later- I left the sketch in like I did with the briar and ćiro drawing from a few months ago since it was relatively clean, but I put the lighting layer above the lines layer and below the sketch layer, so in the lit areas the lineart is lighter and more of the sketch is apparent... it's a bit subtle in this piece but I'm curious about how it'd look in another drawing!
