my girlfail oc wye and more doodles
🕑 Added 2025-03-14 15:53:06 +0000 UTCintroducing my weird lesbian pokemon character wye 🎉 who has been around for a while but I only recently finished her reference! apollo and I decided to make impromptu characters to play as in scarlet and I ended up unexpectedly attached to her. the second and third images include the first drawings of her which are pretty old already, and you can see her go from kind of cool to much less cool- she started as a fossil hunter/thief type character and now she's a regular paleontologist/geologist who cracks bad jokes about rocks and is about as dense as one. the only pokemon I know she has for sure right now is omanyte, because look at the way he looks at her... I can't separate them now ...
next up we have a dragon character I made for a draw steel game with some friends! we only just had our first game session so she isn't very developed yet, but her name is thistle, and she was raised in the woods by bears. 👍
then there's a little redesign of riven, since we had a huge reshuffle with the story he was from and he didn't seem to fit anymore so he's his own thing now... might make him friends with the sphinx I've been toying with in the last two pics here!

thank you so much remmy! ❤️ I did hope putting that in the title would make the post enticing LOL I agree about pokemon ocs too they're really fun, I've made a few but wye is the first to stick! I hope you make one, I bet they'd be super cute and they can be friends with wye if you want! I think I'm settling on the lycanroc too, she's based on the one I had in game but I'm thinking she belonged to wye's mom before and tries to look out for wye because she needs it haha. I was thinking the same for riven and the sphinx too and I'm wondering about making them a little griffin friend so there's a whole gang of naughty creatures...

I absolutely ran to this post as soon as i saw the word "girlfail" in my email. I think pokemon ocs are apart of those triangle charts with the basic needs and it's at the top, although I have yet to make one or settle on one myself. all my ocs must have sunglasses bc I wear mine all the time so when I saw her sunglasses that made me smile. anyways, I love her so much and I also love the idea of having a lycanroc (i think that's what they are called) as like a scent hound for cool rocks. I always enjoy seeing your character sketches/explorations. Riven and the spinx seem like they would make really cute friends that occasionally get up to no good, love the thought of it.
