Hey guys, have any of you tried Miles Morales on the PS4? How does it stand up against the PS5 version? If I play it on PS4 will I be missing out on anything major or is it just a prettier version? Thanks guys L&R

Christopher Peterson

“Huber you go after me. And Blood you are wrapping it up” or was it “Huber you go after me and Blood, you are wrapping it up.” I feel like the correct interpretation is Huber is third and Blood is last but it is obviously ambiguous.

HUBER WAS RIGHT! LISTENING SKILLS HYPE!

CORRECTION: Damiani probably corrected this already, but Lalafells are the Tarutaru of XIV, while Elezen are the elves of the game.

Y'all forgot Sackboy! Adds a super jolly feel to the launch of PS5 that also takes great advantage of the ps5 system UI. Also Blood, the exclusive PS5 games that utilize activities well also provide a next gen perk and change the way you jump through games.

Curtis Green

Completely agree with everything, Blood was stating completely inaccurate information around Ps5 BC, despite them having the system they clearly didn't put effort into it like digital foundry did. Stating that all non optimised games run exactly the same as ps4 pro is so clearly an opinion based on no evidence. Coupled with the puddle depth analysis on how well marketing went between the 2 machine. Even just looking at the views of the unboxing videos on the easy allies YouTube you can see that more people are engaged with Playstation over Xbox. Edit: Just want to add, still loving the overall coverage, on YouTube and can't wait for the coverage in the future. Just found it a strange discussion this week and it felt very bland and without much deep analysis for such a long discussion.

I knew Hellblade 2 wouldn't be a launch game when it was revealed at the Game Awards and Phil Spencer said it was early in development

Cathal Fallon

Boy, there are a lot of people who need to add "In my opinion...." to their comments. In my opinion, this weeks coverage has been extremely informative and looked great.

So many weird takes this week. About the SSD situation, sony gave plenty of details about it up front. They have one of the best SSD solutions in the market at the time of announcement. Other new SSDs that match that performance from Samsung etc are coming out now. Of course they want to make sure it works properly. We knew this for months. Same with backwards compatibility stuff. You guys think xbox wants to spend so much time and effort hyping up their BC solution just cuz? Like what else are they gonna hype up software wise for launch? Sony wanted to focus on the new games first and foremost. and it works. Check the DF comparisons released this week on PS5 BC to see how good it is. Your discussion on marketing is shallow as hell. What about social media based marketing? Sony breaking records on insta and twitter? Xbox messed up unloading everything they had early on and look at now. Even the PS5 logo reveal had more buzz created than most xbox 'marketing'. Also completely ignored how terrible things went for xbox with their game reveals across two game showcases vs. what happened with the state of play events (FF16, Spider MM, R&C etc.). Remember Halo? You then actually think it is the same as xbox? lmfao Really weird and disappointingly weak segment on PS5 from you guys.

Oh, and whie discussing the Marketing for the Xbox Series X, I feel like the panel completely forgot how badly the first "Third Party Showcase" went over. That was a disaster, only compounded by the wet fart that was the Halo Infinite gameplay demo in the First Party showcase, neither of which had a single stitch of gameplay shown actually running on the new systems. It was a very long time before anything that wasn't "PC footage approximating XSX capabilities".

Brad Grenz

I am absolutely baffled by the PS5 based discourse going around. How is it that everyone can agree the PS5 is very heavy, but be completely flabbergasted by the concept of Sony using gravity to secure the base to the system when it sits horizontally. The weight of the system keeps it in place. It's a clever mechanism to allow the same object to secure the device in both orientations.
