DANG IT. They didn't really discuss the Sonic news about the fact that we're about to get a new Voice actor for the titular character much beyond the initial news or talk about the fact that we're getting new writers for the 3D Games much either. Was really hoping they'd talk about that a little more in-depth. I mean, there is some love for the series within the group and it's well-known. :( Glad they brought up the news about RCG stepping down (Kinda glad because he isn't my favorite Sonic VA) though.

That whole stock talk pissed me off honestly this had nothing too do with games I don’t listen too the podcast for this kind of stuff and I heard a lot of talk about various stock and stuff. No briefly mention it and move on leave this too the experts

idk what this has to do with gaming?I guess it was brought up,but I've seen him talk this and gay topics saying who cares if ur gay or not.I know and friends with people who are anti gay marriage, but they are over all good people.you can have different beliefs and still be good people

I've called out EZA plenty of times for missing the mark on things, but the GME discussion was pretty darn good. It's not necessarily gaming related in any way but at least they recognized that at the front. The downside with topics like this is it makes every average joe think they know a lot more than they do about the situation, so you're bound to get a lot of criticism by retail reddit investors. I work in investment banking and received an offer from one of the largest hedge funds that are directly involved in this situation, and agree with Ian's point that unevenness in regulation is a real thing that very smart people won't admit. On the other hand, a lot of retail redditors don't want to admit that this is a pump and dump situation that, while very funny, shouldn't be allowed to continue. A true counterpoint to that is that hedge funds do a lot of these dastardly things (tweeting about the value of heavily-shorted stocks, tricking other hedge funds with credit defaul swap betting, and much more) so reddit should be allowed to do the same in public. The truth is one bad investing strategy doesn't justify another bad investing strategy, and while this situation is hilarious the SEC is right to try to shut it down. A true loser of the situation is Robinhood, as they have no way of appeasing their largest owners and their largest customers at the same time. Like most nuanced discussions, there are a lot of ways to upset people on either side of the issue. Edit: Forget about all of this, go watch the fiasconauts character game, it is amazing

The issue with Kevin Hart is yes, he is homophobic. He had posted a tweet one time that said, “If I ever see my son playing with dolls. I will walk right in there and break the doll house over his head.” No joke, wasn’t trying to be funny. It wasn’t until a few gay men made videos of them sharing their stories, about when they were kids, and got “caught” playing with dolls. Horrible, traumatic stories. He then said it was just a joke, and refused to apologize for what he claimed was “A product of his work/job” or something like that. Pathetic honestly. I refuse to consume anything that he has his hands in now. Really wish Eli Roth can/would fix this. But highly doubt it.
