What exactly was Damiani referring to when he said Crash 4 sold well? I'm curious to see how it's numbers stacked up against the N.Sane Trilogy.

Time Splitters came out in 2000. It was a PS2 launch game.

I've always heard it as "perfect is the enemy of done" which made sense because if you keep working to get it "perfect" you will never actually finish it because nothing can ever be perfect.

Regarding the complaints from the community about Geoff Keighley, personally I don't think the issue is that you speak about him often, it's that you gush over him like, as Huber said, he is santa. You don't speak like that about any other gaming personality, even the ones that make games, or that truly shape the industry. It's a bit cringey the way you put someone in such a high pedestal, specially someone that, at the end, is just a games journalist and presenter.

Correction: "Perfect is the enemy of good" is an aphorism from Voltaire's 'Dictionnaire philosophique' from 1770, where he quoted an italian proverb. It is meant to highlight the law of deminishing returns.[1] In her 2017 campain memoirs, Hillary Clinton did write "Making the perfect enemy of the good is short-sighted and counterproductive..." Correction: Damiani said that Tokyo/other parts of Japan were under emergency orders to stay at home and that could’ve contributed to RE Village’s worse sales. We’re not under any orders, the state of emergency simply requests that people avoid congregating/making unnecessary trips outside—Japan’s constitution does not allow the government to force people to stay at home/restrict where they go. People in general have been going about their daily lives as usual. (Source: I live in Yokohama.)

Thank you Megan for the tribute to Kentaro Miura. Even without reading Berserk (I only played the Dreamcast game and watched the first anime) it's crazy the influence Berserk had on media. It really did change the world. Gaming especially! No Souls vibe without Berserk. Cloud's Buster Sword? Berserk! And on and on and on. If you don't want to read the manga (which sadly will never finish) at least look up some of his art. INCREDIBLE.

You guys should check out Timespliters Rewind. It's a fan-made ground up remake of the original game with the blessings of Crytek, and they recently (late last year) reached a point where they could share a 30 minute gameplay demo.

Correction for Epic: If only Epic listened in sex ed. They could have avoided friction from their penetration if they had only used Lubrication

Correction: Timesplitters 2 is secretly playable in it's entirety in Homefront: The Revolution. It was secretly implemented in the game by one developer, who then forgot the cheat code to access it. It was reverse engineered by members of the public last month. https://www.polygon.com/22375774/timesplitters-2-homefront-the-revolution-easter-egg-cheat-code-unlock-how-to
