L&R question: Greetings Allies. How much do you think is too much to ask for a developer to fix or improve? I like to give a context by comparing the two ways From Software and Guerrilla Games are handling their most recent masterpieces. Elden Ring takes longer to fix with very small fixes on performance and technical aspects but focusing more on gameplay mechanics. Horizon Forbidden West received weekly bug fixes, performance, even some narrative structures like the amount of times Aloy speaks while encountering objects is changed. Something tells me that Guerrilla focuses more on crafting a game that EVERYONE can enjoy while compromising on narrative while Elden Ring is more tied to solidify combat and to be less accessible for players. I respect the different approaches, but I'm concerned that people is demanding a lot of changes that will compromise the gameplay and narrative experience. I've seen people complaining about Elden Ring for the difficulty, questlogs, ui/ux, heck even the message system. Part of the idea of FS games is to resemble real life interactions while leaving them to choose what to explore and memorize. Is up to you to decide on what should you trust or remember, and if you stick with it, the more establish a connection wkth the game, versus having all questlogs and clear messages on an open world game thst I might forget in a second (it happened to me in Valhalla). I hope I made myself as clear as possible and I hope everyone is having a blast with these games as much as I do. L&R from Costa Rica.
Hey Allies! Capcom feels like they’re doing better then ever now, successfully issuing in a new era of Monster Hunter and Resident Evil, while also announcing promising new titles in things like Street Fighter 6 and Exoprimal. But my question is, where is our blue bomber? Mega Man 11 came out almost 4 years ago, and in the last decade it’s been almost solely Mega Man Collections. Will Mega Man get it’s “Monster Hunter World” moment? Love and Respect Rahcaz
