Damiani mentions his monk falling behind in FF1. Just curious, Damiani, did you try unequipping him so he is fighting barehanded? It works like it does in FFT.

All 6 pixel remasters have exp/Gil/ap boosters, it’s just kind of hidden In game open the menu, pick configuration, then scroll near the bottom right below the soundtrack toggle, and pick “boost” you can do none, half, normal,double or quadruple on each
