I use Houdini for fluid simulations, although they're not of good enough quality to say "oh, it's made in Houdini" hahaha, but I use Houdini because it's fast, it's faster than any other fluid solver.

Out of curiosity, what do you use Houdini for? I thought you did everything on blender 😯
