I'll see if I can manage that somehow. I only have a Macbook Air from 2014 with limited space so it's not an easy task installing trials of every DAW (I don't own a Logic license). I'll put it on the todo list. For me, the sidechain in Ableton 11 works as expected. I think I'd need some more details about how you're trying to set it up to be able to help you in Ableton.
Can you make a video on how to set up in logic?
