In the last couple of wips, a couple of chads have informed me that in some scenes, the slaps ended up being overtaken by the squishy sounds.
Perhaps in my quest to find the ultimate squish, I ended up neglecting the good'ol sounds of plapping. So I decided to do some rebalancing and put the slap sounds a bit more into the spotlight. So do lemme know if it's to your liking or nay :3
I also tried listening to my wips from a different perspective to see (hear) what the average viewer experience is like. So instead of using my usual Quantum 200 headset (nothing to write home about, but still pretty decent). I instead opted to use a cheaper wireless earphone for the first test, and just a straight up phone speaker for the second... The loadout of choice for the casual coomer XD
To no ones surprise, the experience was indeed worse. But the interesting bit is how... Like when played through my phone speakers. I could barely hear the sounds of plapping, while the squishes would easily overpower it (BGM levels were pretty on point tho). And when I used my earphones, this time, the squish and slap balance was pretty good! However, the BGM was distractingly loud!.. Some of the smoler details were inaudible too :/
Shieesh... I guess there really isn't a one-size-fits-all fix when it come to audio balancing. Oh well, can't really do much about it, so Imma just keep doing the usual :p
Oh! I guess I should also give a quick update on the ending's production!
I've finished the core loop animations for the sexy bits, and I'm a lil over halfway done with the key poses... It's still gonna take a few weeks before I can show you chads the finished product, but production is chugging along just fine :3... Tho tbh, I was expecting to be in the polishing stages by this time.
I wasn't able to predict just how long, making the directions for the voice acting would take. And it ended up pushing my production schedule by a week... Hardest part was trying to figure out how to best communicate the delivery, tone, and timings of the moans & dialogues to my liking, whilst minimizing recording times.
Oh! And there's also the release of Fontaine which took away a solid few days of production time. So that also didn't help... (Hehe sorry bout that :p)
Btw, Furina gives off some HEAVY Aqua vibes and I'm all for it XD. Defo gonna try a Konosuba meme team (Aether, Hu Tao, Nilou, & Furina) once she comes out. Prolly gonna suck, meta wise, but to heck with it lol.
And while we're sort of on topic. Without spoiling anything, Mihoyo really caught me off guard with how dark they went with the story this patch...
Like... daym. That twist came out of nowhere. That said, I can defo tell that it was a pretty good set-up for future characters and events. And it's MHY we're talking about so... I'm still super interested to see where they plan to go with this.

Eyyy... Happy Birthday! Glad you liked the plaps! I tried your suggestion of shifting the pitch whenever they change positions to add some variety, Buuuttt unfortunately, the audio clip that I use for the slaps aren't the highest of quality, and it gets distorted whenever I do shift it. So I just did the next best thing and just layered 2 different slap sound clips to make it sound more... meaty :3 Ohh... I didn't know they we're the same VA. She really does look like Mikasa now that I think of it. Plus her personality of being this serious, bodyguard, badass lines up perfectly too. No wonder they picked her!

Ahhhhhhh I missed this and it's my birthday today so I'll have to be brief! Great audio mix, Pink!! Plaps sounded much better amongst the squish! Definitely gets me excited to hear the voice direction you have in mind with the VA. Can't wait to hear Lumine ask Sucrose where to "dump her load" XD You better direct the shit out of that line haha! Haven't had a ton of time to play Genshin recently :( Catching up on TV shows/movies and playing Armored Core 6 / Honkai Sar Rail takes up too much time! I do like the brattiness of Furina tho. She's so full of herself, I love it. Definitely makes me excited to see some r34 artists shut her up with some D lmao. I have yet to finish the second Archon quest, so I'm sure there's a lot of Hoyo surprises! P.S. Clorinde is a fucking badass thou. OMG. Attack on Titan's Mikasa JP voice actress too! I'm in HEAVEN when she's on screen XD thanks again for all the work!! avoid stairs at all costs!! see you soooooooooooooooooooooon!

Ohhh... you're friend picked your team for you which is why it's so weird. I get it now XD Ahh no problem at all... I was already thinking that I may have gone a little too much on the squishy sounds anyways. And your feedback, along with Ichigo's, pretty much confirmed it. And it ultimately made the animation better as a result :3

Glad to hear that your doing well. Yeah.... better don't risk running. As I said for my fun I let my friend decide which characters I put in my team. I send him some pictures of the chars I still need to max friendship. And there's no way now he doesn't know what he's doing. I mean I had one time a full Dendro team. Or like Faruzan with Wanderer and 2 Dendro chars and I'm like you're kidding me right.๐ There's no way he doesn't know the mechanics of the game. After it I might use the Traveler or Yaoyao with my Nilou. Nahida is sticking with my Baizhu Team ๐ Haha yeah Mondstadt with a Pool and some mountains who are not like cut clean off from Venti. I'm still excited for the Tower and the flying water Cubes. Let's wait before I make my decision who's second best Region. Because Mondstadt was the first Region and was the thirst Gameplay like nostalgic even if it's not that long ago. Also im from Austria and Mondstadt is leaned on Germany with the names and everything. Hard to take over in my heart haha ๐ No Problem I felt a little bad after being so picky with the Sound. But I also wanted to be helpful somehow after asking for feedback ๐ hope it didn't made too much work.

I'm pretty sure that's just straight up canon XD Even bringing a box to stand on, just so the railings won't block her view. Petty as all heck... I like it... Mihoyo sure knows their waifus lol.

Yeah, thought her introduction was a little dumb at first but now my headcanon is that she's just a tsundere who wanted our attention because she heard about us saving other nations, and now she wants us to do the same for her

Yeah it's fine, I'm used to sometimes using big or overly formal wordsโ It's just the way I talk regardless of most contexts. And yeah, it's cool how that always happens with people, even online. And I changed it not really for like privacy or safety concerns. I feel pretty safe and sound on Patreon. It's mostly because it's a pretty small world, and who knows when someone I know joins one of the Chads here xD Would be pretty awkward, even if I never like, get told about it. Oh well, I guess that just further proves the sad point that you'll never be able to please everybody. But! I think in this case and with your posts, there are no losers, and only winners! And that's very true! I mean those who are alike gather together. You've always been very cordial in your announcements and posts, keeping us up to date with every development and giving your thoughts on every post and how the process went and all that. Not to mention, very active in the replies and just overall coming off as an extremely chill and respectable guy. You'll mostly see people like you around here :) And yeahh, it does give off Lady Dimitrescu vibes, because the names are both Romanian. The main reason why I changed it, is because I realized it was my real name xD I didn't realize when or how or why I changed it to include my full name, but yeah, I cut it in half. But hey, maybe if you liked that vibe to it, I'm totally down to just straight up change it to Alexandru Dimitrescu!

Oh yeah... If only Noelle had Nilou's thing where she gets ฬทoฬทfฬทfฬท stronger when hit with exploding cabbages, then she's pretty much a Darkness crossover character XD At first, I didn't really like Furina's antics, But it slowly grew on me. Especially when she did the thing of summoning a stand that does the emoting for her whenever she gets fluttered. But I guess the real kicker was her dynamic with Neuvillete... The guy is just so done with her and it's absolutely hilarious. Kinda like how Tighnari is with Cyno. I love those duo XD

My foot is pretty much healed now! Tho I'd prolly still land face first if I try running on it XD Yeahh... I mean you could still use dendro main character for Nilou and it would still work just fine (Sometimes even better in certain situations). But tbh, Nahida just hits different XD. She's pretty much glued to Nilou whenever I use her lol. Mihoyo defo went with the quantity ever quality with Fontaine. If you look at the map, Fontaine is tiiiiny compared to Sumeru. But there's sooo much more stuff to do. And I can definitely see the comparison with Mondstadt. It's like Mondstadt, but with a swimming pool... and if Fischl is their archon XD Ahh that's good to hear! As always, super thanks for your feedback. Really helped me out :3

Oh hehe... It's nothin XD I just noticed that there were some conflicting feedbacks with my audio work, and that I had some suspicion that it may be due to a difference in hardware. Sadly, it looks like it is and I can't do much bout it. But at least I learned somethin new :p Hehe... I can defo imagine the "me" from a couple months ago would be stressed out to heck, being behind schedule by this much. Buuut I've since realized that I should just enjoy the process and go at my own pace. After all, there's really no reason to get anxious when I've the most understanding Chads in the world by my side :3 PS: I just noticed you shortened your name. Your previous one really gave me a Lady Dimitrescu vibes. Guess that wont be the case anymore XD

Never thought we'd have a Konosuba team. The parallels between Furina with Aqua didn't really hit me until the other day. Just need a blonde, physical/geo sword user who scales off DEF now. I liked her more than I was expecting. Was expecting a mona/fischl type character going off the EN voice but I've grown to like her JP voice a lot. She's also a smug brat so I guess liking her was inevitable.

Let me say that much I play Nilou rnw in a Team for the friendship reward and a friend of mine made the team means I have rnw Nilou Ayato Lyney and Lynette in my team and God damn do I need a Dendro char for my Nilou rnw ๐ I don't think Furina will suck in the meta. No Archon at the moment sucks I would say. And even all of them are powerhouses except Venti I guess. But he's still insane with his ult so all Venti enjoyers please don't hurt me haha. I was a little sceptical about fontain ngl. After the summer event with the Circus I was like nahhhh please don't. I didn't like the music the atmosphere etc maybe because I don't like Circus. But to my surprise I really like Fontain now. The story was amazing and all the characters too. The music is stunning and let's not begin talking about the underwater experience. Just surprisingly stunning for me. Fontain is now fighting with Mondstadt about my second most liked region haha ๐ Okay talked a bit much about Genshin haha. Sooo to finish my text message. The sound fits way more if not perfectly in my eyes now the squish is still there and coming louder when lumines cumming or Sucrose Squirts. I'm completely satisfied hope the other ones sees it the same. As always I will stay excited what comes next ๐๐
