Okay no not sure a lot of people know this but it's not a good idea to get too close to really warmest environments after coming inside from like the blistering cold it's always recommended to slowly warm yourself up otherwise I could go into shock so depending on how long this guy was outside and how low his temperature is getting anywhere near that fire would be detrimental to his health if the fire was like six seven feet away from like a couch he should be laying on that couch with a very light blanket on him and slowly drink warm water and I know I sound like a nerd I've studied human anatomy for like 6 years

Meanwhile, in my universe, we have snow at the weirdest times. Sometimes, it's a small blizzard in the middle of October, other times, the sun is shining out (So much for a white Christmas...) Indiana is just constructed in an unorthodox fashion. Built stupid lol
