I like to think of this almost in terms of investing in the stock market. If you make some good investments and increase your holdings via those moves, you can either "cash out" that profit, or used those increased holdings to make even more on subsequent investments. If you keep reinvesting you can potentially start making huge gains on each move, but that means you have to forgo cashing out those profits to spend on things. Reinvesting in yourself with some of your earnings, is basically "Keeping your money in the market" for my analogy, and it's the only way to eventually get to those big wins.

This is so valuable and something I technically “knew” but definitely hadn’t really gotten. Will absolutely be applying this in the coming year as I expand things.

I am a CS undergrad rn but ever since I found you I've been leaning more and more into the biz/marketing side of things rather than technical but Im not sure if there's a clear path to get an actual job into the field like CS has.
