i have been taking my medication as i should since i was at the doctor yesterday...i'm still super scared to be honest, going to be doing my best to really rest up, although it is difficult...
I've been trying to still do work that doesn't require my voice, might be why you see a lot of ASMR videos from me lately with not much speaking (new upload tonight btw~)...I will say though, sometimes it is hard to build up a proper backlog. I often order skebs/artworks specifically for my ASMR videos (since I want high quality thumbnails), but sometimes it can take so long to get a piece back that even though I've already finished the audio for the video, I just have to sit on it for months bc I need the art still >~< ...so I'm forced to kind of keep making stuff to fill in those gaps
anyways, some stuff I've been up to...i finally finished the book i've been reading! yeah, if you don't know, i'm a bit of a reader :3
I do have some thoughts about it...I've been wondering if I should make a book review section on my website? To be honest, I don't really read fast enough that I think it'd really get filled, so I don't know if it's warranted. But I do like sharing my thoughts about these things and I worry it'd be too boring in a normal stream? >~< Maybe I could encourage you to read too? I do think it's a great way to relax before bed, instead of spending time on a screen or something, better for your eyes at least. Better than doomscrolling too - I think if you could re-direct all that energy spent on idk garbage sites like Twitter LOL where you're just kind of looking or searching for something to do or read, just reading a bit of a book is a much better use of time! Productive and has meaning you know? Not to be all preachy but I do recommend, there's lots of great books out there for anyone. Anyways, while I did end up liking this book, I honestly don't think I'll read the rest of the series.
This book is like 700-800 pages long?? Absolutely a massive unit, and then you find out there's like 8 books or something...a very daunting task that kind of put me off from it to be honest. I've found that I don't really like these "long epics" as much as I used to (I suppose I just had much more time as a kid so I didn't mind reading all of Game of Thrones, for examples). I prefer contained, concise stories. I don't need to know 100 pages worth of some guy's childhood and all the details of how hard it was or whatever. I'd rather get to the point and explore interesting ideas. I feel the same way about games too, I kind of prefer shorter experiences that are more deliberate and focused than some 100+ hour open world exploration. Still though, I pushed myself to finish this book and it does get quite interesting near the end, I think I've had enough of the world (and the le super epic cool gary stu protagonist) :P
I was also quite lucky with my gacha pulls yesterday and I don't know if it's sad but it legitimately makes me so happy πCollecting...idk I might be cooked but the rush is so good. If you know you know...

ANYWAYS, here's the exciting part of this post...because I don't wanna yap your ear off too much, I'm just gonna get to it...

I believe I have accomplished a 3D tracking set up that doesn't require VR! So, I can sit in my chair and still move around! and one part of that set up is...
these tracking gloves! :D Something funny though...they literally ONLY track hand movement. Not arms or anything. So I had to figure out how to attach VIVE trackers to them and get that tracking data sent correctly to where I want it to go, otherwise all you would see is fingers moving around with absolutely stiff arms lol...(and these are quite expensive gloves too btw! well, at least they work well). With this set up though, I plan to do 3D ASMR videos where you could actually easily see my hand movements, picking up objects, etc...maybe even normal yapping streams where I'll just be able to flail my arms around and speak with my hands lol~
(fun fact, these gloves are the smallest that they sell, and yet they are still a bit loose on my hands...)

and finally...I wanted to ask if you have any donothon ideas >~<
I am planning an event for my birthday which is in just a month...aahhh I do feel a bit shy talking about it though...I hate "asking" for anything, I just want to have a fun celebratory event with goals. I think it's a fun format, unlocking things to do and such and building hype...and admittedly the funding is very helpful for me, to make more content, upgrade my stuff, and just generally feel more secure in what I do and my future...but I digress, I plan to aim for like 5k or something? I don't want to ahhh put too much pressure on you or anything or create unrealistic expectations or look like some weirdo...;~;
But yeah, I've been working on that too and putting together ideas and a plan/schedule...so please let know if you have any ideas yourselves! Whether it's milestones you want to see me do, or some incentives that you would like to receive, or fun segments to do during the event (it'll be 48hrs straight!)...nyaaa!!
As always, I appreciate the support you've given me a ton and the patience/understanding you've had with me, I'm really super proud of my pengoons and thank you for making every stream/thing I do fun π₯Ίπ

didn't know my imouto loved reading that's cool and cute π«³π«³π«³, to be fair I barely started reading books myself but I'm really enjoying my journey, I read alot of horror or disturbing books... I guess something is wrong with me or something, but hey! If you have time I would recommend "songs of a dead dreamer" by Thomas Ligotti, it's rather flowery in language but it has some beautiful cosmic horror short stories, also IM SO HAPPY YOU GOT SOME NICE GATCHA PULLS, I'm not a big gatcha guy myself but seeing you get all happy over the pulls really gets my heart going! can only imagine the dopamine hit LOL, cutie~ and the gloves + more expressive model are so cuteeee I can't wait to see what you do with it babyy~~ and god your bday is coming up so soon! I can't wait to see the goals and celebrate with my one and only lovee~~ darling~~ love you!!!

Woah that's exciting omg! It's really cool you're getting creative with the 3D stuff. If it works out I bet you'll see people copying you. It's nice to find things that make you happy and I don't think gacha pulls are any more silly than something like watching streamers. I think the book reviews are a cool idea. Its not that I dislike it, I just have other preferences id rather do. π Don't ask me why, but I let out a little chuckle finding out you play HSR. I used to as well but I eventually dropped it bc I spent so much money on it and I didn't even get the character I wanted LMAO. For the donothon I think something like last year is fine? Just don't put drinking in the middle, for your own health I can't think of activities or something for the donothon nor incentives, maybe add another tier of incentives between 100 and 500? Idk last year was fun. One of the best memories I have honestly Looking forward to the donothon, 3D and everything.
