John, a question about the comic book industry: what form do an variant covers take in the days of digital comic books? Back in my day (when comic book fans were slightly greedy but exceedingly dumb, and comic book publishers were slightly dumb and exceedingly greedy) having a variant cover meant buying a whole other copy of the comic ("it will definitely be wor th something someday!"). More recently I only see variant covers in the back of or between chapters of a trade paperbacks, but I assume they are printed in interior covers of the reg ular issues, as well. Do the digital publishers maintain the idea of the cover, and if so, can you show the variant cover as a cover, or is it relegated to an interior page as well?
