Of course I see a difference. I assure you that before version 0.58 I did not have this problem. I'm sure I don't have a problem with my screen settings because I don't have to worry about typing on a lot of other games. My screens are set with a contrast of 80 and the brightness is at 50, no specific settings activated either. It is really not possible to choose the night in the time line and to apply a setting just on this part there? Thank you in advance for your answer...

You thought about to calibrate your monitor? Because usually you see some details in the night. But also, Pure tries to simulate it right, so you do not see everything in the night. Can you see differences in the first fields (1-10) ? https://i.imgur.com/upHOoqg.jpg

Good evening, I really have problems when it's night, it's really dark. I know you can change the filter, but the one that works best (pure simple) has some weird ray problems and is out of line with the moon or the sun in broad daylight. I know you can edit the filters, but if I brighten the night the day gets way too bright. Is there a way to stretch or change something just for the night? Please help me because it really ruins all the fun ...

Hi Peter, Great work. Im not sure if its you or Ilja to ask - but is it possible to make overcast more 'gloomy'. As I look out my window at the great British grey, I would love to have a bit more realism to this preset when driving UK tracks.

What should control it. A shadow is just a texture, which is only litten by ambient light. Otherwise if it's "no shadow" it is litten by ambient light and sunlight. That's all. There is no shadow drawing or such thing. It's just the missing of sunlight. It's pretty simple in AC. And then you have the smart shadows control of CSP, where you can setup their parameters.
