Maybe it only works when the item has been in her pocket or on her body after a certain amount of time. Inorganic things like clothing and phones and the like take less time compared to organic things like Humans and Animals which would have to have been in her pocket for a few day to start feeling the effects. Which is why Chibi isn't effected cause he is never in her pocket/ sitting on her shoulder that long. Not gonna lie, I was thinking of Sihagen's character explanation of how the Sams can Grow/Shrink when I thought of this

@Daluna13 So that's kinda how I figure it too!... though for whatever reason that never transfers to people. A tiny in her pocket will remain tiny, even while the pocket gets larger around them.

I always had the head canon that the Items she wore or had in her pockets had the same kind of logic that cartoons where a character grows has.
