Hello, i would liké to know if you have any idea when you will update ?

Tod

Few leaves will not replace nuclear power I think. It would take a large amount of trees or solar panels to capture enough sunlight for that.

I was a bit confused about that "H-elp", honestly. I wasn't sure if it was coming from the Creature or Erf. Creatures have been basically non-verbal this whole time, but I suppose it could be the trapped Spark/consciousness of a consumed wermage trying to escape?

The grand chief

If Erf needs alternative energy sources, wouldn't it be better for him to just grow a few leaves and photosynthesize?

The grand chief

From what i can tell, Bragge wasn't wrong, just misguided. Based on the flow of the conversation, my guess is that he did indeed see his people die at the hands of Erf. But, he thinks Erf is something Albin made to do his job for him. So his real target was Albin all along because as far as Bragge is concerned, he is the real threat. Also, I think the irregular creatures are simply those who managed to devour the spark of wermages and take their abilities. (Note the cry for help.)

Maniac

I just want to go "Shut up and take my money!" I need moar of dis! MOAAAAR! So good. Sadly, "These things, they take time." Quality cannot be rushed.

OK, had some time to digest this chapter... Tent Event was bananas. Both a confirmation and debunking of the extent of Bragge's power and knowledge. I thought he knew at least a little about Flow-less artefacts, but it turned out he was just aiming for Albin's favorite to kidnap and ransom Albin. I expected a 'big picture' schemer, but in the end, it was the usual aristocratic mafia antics, lol. Still, it seems like Erf got a whole buttload of intel from the affair. Looking forward to see how much of it is actionable. That 'spore' that Erf dropped, I'm assuming it's like a biological microfilm capsule, readable only by living tech? CRAB BATTLE! Very kinetic sequence, with the rapid teleportation. Regular Creatures can't do that, can they? That's gotta be some kind of 'royal soldier' or 'hive protector' to have that kind of power. Interesting that they're all meat, no organs, kind of implies they're remote drones or bio-robots. Finishing off with literally making a splash in Bayan Gol, lol. By installing the ocular implant, it feels like Erf is regaining another piece of himself, just like the epilogue of Wisher Beware. Based on his comment about seeing 'something extra' with the teleport spell, does the implant let him 'see' more of the EM spectrum?

It's a prickly problem. Whether he's dead or brain-damaged, Bragge's condition is going to raise questions. Albin could carve him up with the monoblade to eliminate the evidence, but killing and butchering another Family's daimon would reflect poorly on Cait, and I doubt he'd do anything to make life difficult for his mother. Erf getting close enough to Lif to actually transfer data is huge, but tempered by the fact that her position still isn't nailed down yet. Still, he's busted up but alive. Compared to the fight he just had, browbeating wermages into getting back in touch with Kiannika should be easy.

Dang, I really look forward to seeing how this all plays out. Especially when the politics of back home learn just what happened. It would be near impossible to sweep everything under the rug and hide it.

Tupperwarez

Another banger, this one's gonna take a while to fully digest!

So, Bragge is probably dead, and if not, he is definitely not able to lead this attack anymore. Either way, there will probably be a lot of focus on the situation now that someone on the level of a heurisk bit the dust. Erf needs to talk with Albin, and Lif now knows of his existence

Bast

Thank you very much!
