That would tally with the Scarecrow Festival episode of Langley's People, where everyone decamps to a local pub at the end, and over the credits, we see Trevor, mic in hand, shirt unbuttoned to the chest, serenading everyone with Fly Me to the Moon.

Years ago, I came across mention of Langley on one of those Lord Lucan threads on Fortean forums. There was a theory that one of the various moustachioed British dropout men of a certain age living abroad was Langley. Because one of them, I think living in either the Philippines or Indonesia, maybe Thailand, was named Trevor. God knows how he got there, but IIRC he was possibly singing in clubs. Certainly, he looked similar enough, if maybe a bit younger than Langley would have been (although Langley was probably one of those guys born 50).
