Haha, Frank Bough must've been relieved that Breakfast Time never made the 90s, he'd have been in for it.

I have a memory of one news item read by Phil Gayle (during the Richard Bacon era), regarding someone being arrested for running a massive cocaine syndicate; cue them splicing in footage of police having a word with Bacon for something innocuous while he was out doing some roving reporting. On another occasion some bobbies walked past the Lock Keepers Cottage on their patrol and Johnny shouted at them “Bacon’s not here!!” - for all the 90sness of it, still quite epic shithousery!

That all-night millennium episode is my white whale (of laziness. I have the show in full, but I feel like 8 hours of Big Breakfast might actually kill me)

Big Breakfast was getting ready for school's soundtrack. Shops own brand cereal, shoes too big, Pepsi Max pencil cases. Also the soundtrack to school holidays with 'council tv' as Rick Adams and Co presented Pugwall, California Dreams, Saved by the Bell etc etc in those pre-T4 days. Also remember spending the Millennium at my pals house watching the episode where it was literally on all night. Had my first proper drink of beer, 16! So fond memories of a show which clearly like everything else (bar the Sid and Eddie jokes) nit aged well.
