MEGA HOTFIX - If you are having problems with a _dept_knowledge_corr, this might help it fix it, just overwrite a file with the same name in take over > game
I don't have problems with it so I cant properly test, but I think this should fix it. If it does not, enter the console (shift + O) and type:
_dept_knowledge_corr = -10

Hello patrons! First of all, thank you for your support! Hopefully, you guys will like the new release of take over! As we said last month, these next updates are focused on adding content to the game instead of progressing the story.
With 14 additional sex scenes in this update, most characters already have repeatable content, with only a handful of them still missing (specifically, only Erika, Margaret, and Luka), these scenes are only using the "base" model of the characters, but once we're done with them, we'll be working on their transformations.
Not every character will have these available, but the main cast and a few others definitely will.
On top of transformations, we'll also start working on Nela and random scenes for locations, and to revisit the code to make these scenes easier to find and less annoying (like when you get stopped on your way to the laboratory).
We're not going to remove them completely, but we'll definitely add at least a cooldown system to not trigger them so often. With that said, we can go to the changelog!Changelog:
- 4 new story scenes: Now you'll be in charge of corrupting the TV station. Introducing two new characters: Maja, the not so bimbo agent, and Dzenana, the director of the Dept. of Knowledge.
- 14 new repeatable sex scenes, with 2/3 sex scenes for the next characters: Alexandra (Vera's boss, can be found at the HQ), Dana (At the university), Alenka (At the bar in midtown), Giovanni (at the club), Claire (at the club) and the Barista/Manager (at the coffee shop)
- New locations: Midtown (a choice inside the downtown menu), TV station (midtown), Bar (midtown)
- 125 new renders and images
- 12k words of content (4k for the main story, the rest for the sex scenes)
- Fixed Katy's submissive sex scene bug.
That would be all! After we're done adding content (that's it, adding the missing sex scenes and random events), we'll start to fix bugs and to polish the systems in the game, especially everything related to the many tasks and facilities you have available in the journal.

Your journal updates once you corrupt her, you should be able to see what you need to do next there. Did you used cheats of any kind? that can break the game at times

my apologies for the late answer. The TV station is waaaay late in the game. To give you an idea, corrupting Vera is an event that existed in around version 0.6, almost a year and a half ago.

I restarted and I still can't go anywhere past after when I corrupt vera. Just keeps saying already corrupted vera. I am stuck with nothing to do

I've corrupted vera..and seems like even after the update I can't corrupt the tv station..or do anything more with vera. I dont want to start over

You need to assign agents to do that task, you can do that in the journal.

Hey.....again :p I've seen it for a while but can't seem to do it So in the book's research section, are the triggers as well as the final trait "Drug use" not implemented in game? I've tried to find how to research it in game with no success (even when I've required research points and supplies)

I mean since you used the console to change the variable, yeah, but usually no, after the brief you can go to he TV station and start corrupting it

I get the 1st interaction with Vera and then I have to do it again then I can go to the TV station...was there another talk scene with Vera I missed or was the briefing event the only event before going to TV station?

nvm it should be working... i think it looped because when you updated the file, it reseted the variable to -10 again, hence you had to again see the same scene, but after that it should be working

oh btw you cointinue to corrupt the tv station by going to the tv station itself, is in downtown then mid town

well I had re-entered the house as well before using the console tho but didn't get it ...only got it after the 1st briefing with Vera

is this another bug or mistake? after the briefing with Vera, next day I go to the hq I get the same conversation again i.e department of knowledge brief again Here's the save during the first briefing point...if you complete the conversation and go at the hq again the same dialogue repeats https://gofile.io/?c=5EAvfD

Alright so I see what happened. The msg triggers *before* the image of the house loads, but technically you are already in the house script when you get that msg. First thing you need to do when you load an old game is to go to your house and/or sleep if you are already there to update the game But yeah you need to *enter* the house script to trigger it, either by sleeping or going back. Even changing rooms and returning would trigger it. Its not the best thing ever I guess, but tbh it would be very complicated for me to do a check anywhere and update, or if its possible i dont know how

idk...maybe you could make a patch that forces this variable to old saves if the previous save was in v0.22?

I dont know why renpy acts like this, really bothers me. I only uses old saves (so i've been using the same saves for testing for over a year now), so I know it should be compatible, and I just checked the code and it should be compatible whatever you used an old save or started a new game, idk why its not working. You remember which version you specifically played last? altho i dont think that should be a problem
