I'm a little bit younger than Dan. About 10 years. I spent most of my adolescence in the woods. One person always had a compass and like Dan said, if we walked in one direction long enough we'd pop up on a main road. In the time we spent in the woods though we'd found so many abandoned and destroyed stone cabins. If I had the foresight, I would have told my friends to bring shovels. That area of the woods now hosts a Safeway, a Petco, and a Wendy's.

I think you’d be happier in Florida Dan..I grew up in central Florida and moved to seattle when I was 19. Moved here to be closer to my mother at the time. Every day since I dream of the day I move back. I miss my home state. I’m beyond tired of only 3 months of sun lol!
