The ElectroVoice RE20 (like Dan uses) and the Shure SM7B are the most common mics in broadcasting. The RE20 came out in 1968, and the SM7 line debuted in 1973. Amazing how 50 year old microphones are still the go-to for the pros.

I found your podcast through the sample episode you posted on YouTube - I think you’d get a lot of people to sign up for Patreon if you posted a best-of episode on there featuring a handful of classic bits from the show. Spotify has a limited reach because a lot of people don’t use their service, but nearly everyone uses YouTube. Just my two cents.
