TRAPPED AND TERRIFIED horrified viewers...including my own family who after watching it begged me to stop exploring abandoned buildings. T&T had a slow start. It finally went viral a year and a half after it's release. Insanity ensued. I was being contacted by legitimate news agencies, (including FOX NEWS national) asking for a quote. Since I didn't want to lie....i didn't respond to any emails. It didn't matter...they ran with the "story" anyway. At this point, things began to get completely out of hand. I had no choice but to remove the video which then fueled online conspiracies that the drug dealers had found me and threatened my life if I didn't remove the video. It definitely became legend. I never wanted to keep the story behind this video a secret forever. Everyone, including YouTube friends knew it was scripted. I decided to come clean in 2020. The reactions ranged from "Fuck You" to "You're a genius." It's amazing that people still talk about this video today. Some people don't even know it's a scripted horror film. T&T started the whole "Nighttime Urbex Horror" genre that exploded on YouTube in 2017. Everyone started finding drugs, running into dealers, etc. I gleefully created a monster. Regardless...this was a fun period on YouTube. It'll never be like it was five, six, seven years ago. You could be unique and daring and dazzling. Now every video is a copy. RIP to my friend, Prince Arabian who played Mookie in Go-Go Motel (2000) and the invisible drug dealer here in T&T. He died from covid during the pandemic. I loved him so much. I wish we could've worked together just one more time. Enjoy the video everyone.

That video is genius, it scared the hell out of me. I'll admit I was a bit pissed to find out it was scripted but I think it was a sign it worked so well, people were legitimately frightened for you.

I bought this one "hook, line, and sinker" when you originally released it Dan. It is what convinced me I'd probably never want to explore an abandoned building of any kind (as tempted as I have always been to still photograph them and on 35mm & medium format film). The fear of running into someone with what would become a vested interest to not allow you to escape because you had "discovered something" you probably shouldn't have. Still a favorite and I'm glad you didn't totally erase it from existance.
