At one point, it looked like you both were in a video game in a dystopian time. Very cool.

The mall was THEE place to go on my day off from work. It was fun to widow shop and get something to eat. What a change technology has brought! Amazon and Uber eats lol

Thanks so much for showing us this video, Dan. I love all the different Urbex genres you make vids on, but the Dead Mall series is probably my favorite. I found a blog called dadbodcollective.com that has an article about the mall called "The Little Mall that Couldn't.". The first line gives a little history , including the mall's former name, when it opened and who it was originally named after.: "Canton Centre Mall formerly known as Mellett Mall, opened in 1965 as an open-air shopping center. The Mall’s history goes far back beyond 1965 though, way back to the year 1926. The name Mellett was in honor of a Canton newspaper journalist named Donald Ring Mellett who was murdered by the Canton Mob way back in ’26." While the article goes on longer the , the writer couldn't seem to find too much more info about it than that. He says that it closed in the early 2000s, but doesnt mention the exact year. Anyone interested in the rest of the can find it on the guy's blog : https://dadbodcollective.com/2020/03/08/canton-centre-mellett-mall-the-little-mall-that-couldnt/

You said Canton Square Mall but that looks a lot like Euclid Square Mall.
