Very eerie, especially when this got to the Cat that wasn't there... That morning here in Arizona it was a calm sunny day. I use to have the CNN News going on the TV when I got up. Washing up, getting dressed. I hear the signal and announcement. " We have a breaking news report..." Then they showed the first aircraft hitting one of the Towers in New York. I am getting ready for work, not paying close attention. I turn and look at that horrible moment when the first aircraft hit the building. I seriously thought this was about a Movie, Bruce Willis kinda thing. Something like that. I turn up the volume. I just stood still, silent watching... Thinking... "Holy Shit, is this Real ?!"

Quite eerie, Dan. I was in the North Tower as a kid, maybe 12 or 13. Had a tremendous sense of foreboding as I looked down at the view below, and I felt a reckoning in my soul…that someday in the future, this place would be gone from the Manhattan skyline. And then on 9/11, I learned that my cousin John died in the North Tower.

My 4th grade Bible teacher told us how he was in the original World Trade Center bombing that damaged the bottom of the center. He retold his story in 1994 and I remember asking “Did the World Trade Center collapse?” And then, well, you know what happened on 9/11…
