Hey, Dan. I saw that news this morning, my first thought was.... " I Hope Dan was not on the bridge..... " We know you are out and about at all different hours. THANK YOU for letting us know you are ok. Our Thoughts are with all those who were affected by this tragic event. I grew up in Maryland. We've been over the Bridge many times back in the day. As a History buff, I thought it was cool they named the bridge after Fancis Scott Key.

Very scary. You're a lucky man. Back in 1981 I rode over a bridge in DC abt 45min before a plane hit the bridge and ended up in the Potomac. I am very lucky as well.

I took the bridge every day for work. Went over it 15 minutes prior to it collapsing. Feeling for those lost and their families. There was construction work on the northbound side at the time of collapse. Traffic is very light at that time of night, hate to think of what could have happened if it had been 1:30 pm.

So heartbreaking for those who were on there… my dad actually drove over that bridge last night as well maybe not even 2 hours before it went down :( he drives over the road for a living & i just think to myself what a damn horrible coincidence that it happened the night he was in Baltimore!
