The CharacterHub Expands
🕑 Added 2025-08-20 16:00:28 +0000 UTCThis month I’ve been working on making the CharacterHub feel more alive. 😄
Relationships are now detailed, showing how each character views and connects with the others (if they don’t know each other, they won’t be mentioned). These bonds shape the world and bring it to life in new ways.
4 new characters have joined Elizabeth, Bella, Natalya, and Greta. Each with her own history, personality, and role within the story.
Fanart has been added, thanks to the amazing artists who contributed their work and gave these characters new life.
Step by step, the CharacterHub is turning into more than just notes and profiles. It’s starting to feel like a living record of a world that actually exists, filled with our shared memories. The next clips I’m making will be built on these relationships, and I’ll keep pushing forward to create even more for them.

Thanks for pointing it out! I’ve used AI backgrounds mostly to save time, but right now I’m learning 3D so I can create my own places, like Victoria’s café. So in the future, you definitely won’t be seeing only AI backgrounds

Hey what if animation I just wanted to ask if I could make a chatbot of your characters (if I do they’ll be on character.ai) because I want others to have an opportunity to talk to chatbots of the characters and not just roleplayers, plus I always want to ask because I want permission first ^^ ♥️ also I might have trouble writing a description for the introduction message do you have any suggestions on what I should write for the introduction messages? I really like the name "Bella" and the shy, comfy, playful and bookish type that really fits to her like I expected to be! But I wish she was a french-canadian/franco-ontarian named Chloé Beaumont who was born and raised in Toronto and she is a english writing/history student and librarian at the university of Toronto . (Since I am a french-Canadian myself from Quebec City and that would make a love letter to us as well!) But overall, she is my favorite girl anyways! It could be interesting to show your characters who aren’t related to each other by genetics (like being lookalikes and identical twins and triplets) having different face and physique shapes while fitting it in your artstyle to fix this feeling of “same face syndrome” that I see in so many artstyles that I could be tiresome (at least for some.) (Like I said before, Victoria and Elizabeth don't really count too, since they are both sisters, so who cares. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

I always imagined the sexo guy’s name being Carlos, not because it’s just a reference to that Carlos squidward meme, it means “Free or Strong man” and it’s a Iberian variation of the name Charles derived from its Germanic equivalent “Karl”. The name itself it’s been associated with the forces of freedom, strength and masculinity and this fits really for a Mexican/Hispanic gigachad-looking guy! As for his background, I always envisioned him as a kid who grew in a not very wealthy coastal village in Baja California that wanted to reach the clouds of fortune and fame to get out of poverty, corruption and cartel wars. As he grew older, he finally became the man he wanted to be with all the beautiful physic, girls, wealth and everything and advices to other men to become like him, but despite what he wanted in life, he wanted something different on his Destiny as a couple years passed and Carlos was not actually satisfied in the inside due to he also used all of his qualities to go out of misery and hiding his insecurities since all the current people surrounding him only cared about his physique, wealth and nothing else. This could be a great lesson about self-acceptance for being who you actually are and being like everyone else and the physique and health is important, but it’s not defining your entire personality. EDIT : I "pre-made" this comment on google doc just a days or two before a post about expanding the characterhub, coincidence or not, probably both again. XD

When Victoria still see her sister as a little kid, I explained before that there’s potential for seeing your characters to grow and learn at every forms of their lives, it could be great to make plushies out of it for your merch on your official website named idk, www.whatifanimation.org/com (to sell also clothing, paid books, wristbands, coffee cups, phone cases and everything in between) as other type of financial support alternatives for your hardcore fans, besides patreon and other paid platforms! You could also make commissions that you make with under the collaboration of a fanatical fan or a fanart artist to sell it on both your patreon profile’s shop and website!

FAQ : Would you make polls again for the setting or other stuff for the exclusive video? (Similar to Natalya.) Plus, it would be great to make exclusive polls to choose the scenario, settings, characters, ambience, theme and more for the upcoming youtube video!
