Good to know! The whole 'love lock' trend is so unfortunate--while I can understand the sentiment, it's such a selfish trend that causes visual blight and potentially destroys things. When traveling, I'm a big believer in the "leave no trace" principle that's typically associated with people who hike, camp, etc.--leave things as you found them and don't trash the place! Thanks for calling attention to this--and for the tip! Now if only there was an equally easy way to remove graffiti...
