Just dug the notification for this out of my inbox (ironic, huh). I like the song a lot, got a flow-y vibe. But until I checked the lyrics I thought they were "Then see us like the Salton Sea", which I couldn't quite figure out. "salt and sea" makes much more sense!

One of the most special aspects of your music, Kina, is that it always seems to say exactly what I need in the moment of listening. Thank you for sharing your magic with us all. 💛

This section blows me away: If you want to be some part of me Something that lasts forever Then see us like the salt and sea Not one, but two together Oh, give it time, give me time I need to grow I’ve stretched my heart out just as far as it can go Oh, give it time, give me time

How cool that you shared this with us! I’ve been a Patron of yours for years, but I never remember to check what has been posted. I’m gonna have to do a better job of that!

Somehow it has an Elements vibe to it...? Being a song from 2013, I guess it makes sense. :) And I do remember you saying years ago how that album was named like that for having lots of words like "fire", "river", etc. And when I read "salt and sea" in the last verse, I immediately thought about that!

I don’t know why but this is giving me a lot of Ingrid Michaelson vibes

I love this song so much. I've been listening to it on repeat since I've downloaded it from here. Pleeeaaase release it, bc I would like to cover it 😉💖💖💖

This is a beautiful song. The melody seems to bring me as the listener different places at the same time. Wonderful lyrics. Could be one of her best

Nice song! :) Do you know Phoria? Maybe you could do a cover of one of their songs or maybe sing something with them? It's not exactly the same style as your music but I think your voice might be a good match with them. (was triggered by the comment from Richardb mentioning a violin)

aaah 😍 this takes me back to the 'elements' time <3

Oh my goodness Kina! I love it so much ♥️

oh amyyyyyyy 😭thank you so much!! this means so much. hope you all have been well! <3

Oh! I love it! 🥰 ❤️

ah dominic, that brings me so much joy, thank you!!

Kinaaaaaa. This is also an interesting experience for us listeners to go through - listening to an older version of you, in a different place and different time. It definitely feels different than your current style but in an authentic Kina way. It's part of your journey and feels so good to have a little puzzle piece filled in. The refrain is PERFECT. The way each word leads to the next and keeps pressing forward until the angelic singing of "lasts forever". It gets me every. single. time. Thank you so much for sharing. <3

Kina, omg I love this song. Literally from the first note it just hit me perfectly. You know when you hear an amazing song for the first time and it just feels like pure magic? That was this for me.

thank you kina, grateful that you are sharing this lost treasure with us. i’m enjoying the electric guitar too. <3

[insert all the cry faces here] <3 <3

This is amaazing thank you for sharing!!!

Very nice! My imagination hears a violin in this song. Or maybe a cello.

What a lovely song... So glad you found it 🙏. x

Love love love!!! How amazing that you stumbled across this little time capsule 😊 thanks for sharing! And it was nice to hear the electric again.

2013! It's old. It's from before Elements. It's pre alotofthings. Maybe pre marriage even? And it's been a while since the electric, huh? I remember it in your Sweater Weather and Am I Wrong covers and I was gonna say “on Elements”. But listening back, to my untrained ear it sounds like it’s actually only on Oh Father. For some reason I always thought that Elements had a lot of the electric…
