Hi, thanks for asking about this. It can be quite complex, I am considering raising an enhancement to add a guidance tab to playlists and browsers where these complex filtering controls are used. This might help explain a bit better, also I think I could add a "Explain" tab which explains what the effect of the settings are have been set. So for example it would say "A dynamic playlist, that doesn't allow manual additions, with a global filter of Blondes applied to all three dynamic sources each of which provide content to the playlist independently. The three dynamic sources provide :- Dynamic Source 1: All content that has Supercute people .... etc.." something like that anyway. To answer your question, each dynamic content is independent and adds content to the list. The filter is a global filter applied across the dynamic contents. My advice would be to leave the filter empty, add the dynamic content and then add any global filters afterwards so that you can see how it affects the playlist. In terms of the AI recognising stars, its something I'd love to be able to add in the ai application, my concern has always been spending a lot of time in this area and then finding its not effective or the results are too hit and miss to be useful. If anyone has any advice on existing projects that have looked at this then I'll look to link up.

I got an issue: When creating a playlist: what's the difference regarding effect between filters and the "Tag" section within playlist editing? Also I don't get what several dynamic sources should be useful for. I tried to make a playlist of several cumshot timed tag scenes, so I wanted to add 3 dynamic sources for instance. Let's say: Double Blowjob + Cumshot | second layer: titfuck + cumshot | 3rd layer: triple blowjob + cumshot I hoped every dynamic source would fetch it's own kind and that it is somewhat a more configurable variety of the "filter" function. Anyway it seems the playlist tries to add these variables up to double bj triple bj titfuck cumshot at once. also another point towards the ai pornspective: can i teach the software somehow to recognize specific pornstars and how to make it learn what double or triple bj etc is, speaking of individualized tags. Hi jej79bob, the archive file is purely an archive of content with the file signatures/hashes just in case they appear again when indexing. So you can actually safely delete this file and the system will create a new one (small) for new archive data. Thanks for the log though, let me know if this works and speeds up load time :) otherwise I'll have a look as I can see a section of the log that seems to take very long.

I think it would be useful to add a cleanup of the application for folders and files that no longer exist. Let me explain: I tested adding an Images folder (135,000 images, 1.22To), I identified. But since the use did not suit me, I deleted the folder (Edit Scan Location) to use Pornspective only for videos. It seems to me that the size of the "PornspectiveArchive.json" file remained the same as before the deletion (less than 10MB before adding the images folder, more than 200MB after), as did the contents of the "Assets" folders (from 3.2GB to 5GB). Disadvantage, Now the boot time is much longer. Log sent by PM. Unfortunately, it is difficult to go back, my last backup dates from the end of 2024.
