I had a great big out loud "aauuuooooog" when I saw the full body rot screen. That was scary and I wonder if a limited duration rotting curse will heal itself when the status timer runs out, or if the parts will stay infected? On swimming, the DF wiki has pretty good facts: https://dwarffortresswiki.org/index.php/DF2014:Swimming_pool The big challenge is that dwarves only path through 3/7 of water, but need at least 4/7 water to get swimming XP, but drown in 7/7 of water. So you need some way to dump them in some medium-deep water, far enough that they get some swimming practice dragging themselves out, but not so far that they give up and just tread water forever. The wiki also points out the silly way, which is a dwarf riding a minecart in 4+/7 water gains swimming experience, so a dwarven water roller coaster does work great for swimming XP.

I really should, huh? I've been wanting to do something like that, but i've been having an awful lot of fun just playing the game recently. I suppose it couldn't hurt to take a tiiiny peek in at some point, eh?
this was such an amazing episode! I feel like you've found the sweet spot between Zalududil (SC part 3) with the crazy combat and the narrative heavy series. keep it up Krugg!

i just love the heavy metal aesthetic so much. the ludicrous outfits, the giant oversized headgear, the Conan style narration--it just can't not be fun
