Development Update #6 - September 17th, 2018
🕑 Added 2018-09-17 16:29:35 +0000 UTC Hi everyone,A very brief update this week, just to say that all the team are back now and are working hard. Though we got as much done as we could before Rob's week-long birthday break, the five days we had without rendering were costly and have meant we need to push back the release of Episode 1. However, we anticipated this, and since rendering has started up again we've been able to produce around 8 images a day working overtime, bringing the total number of renders in Episode 1 at this stage to over 300. Which is good news!
We're also going to save animations for Episode 2, unless there is significant feedback from you guys to say you're happy for Episode 1 to be delayed if we can include them.
The script for Episode 2 is well underway, but we won't share any more details about it for a while yet!
Finally, we'll also be sending out messages to our Elite Patrons soon asking them how they'd like to be included in the Episode 1 credits, so you haven't got long to join!

Also, over 300 images!! Wow!!
You're doing great, high quality renders which is the main thing. Animations would be nice, but they're not essential right now. The world is ready for episode 1, which will bring in many more patrons for you, allowing you to tool up for animations at a later date. It might be a good incentive for you to go back to old episodes and add animations when you can - and make those "enhanced episodes" available to higher tier patrons.
